Selling silver — answered
How do I identify sterling silver?
Look for a 925 hallmark, a lion passant (UK), or the word STERLING. If unmarked, send it anyway — we test everything with XRF analysis.
Do you buy EPNS or silver-plated items?
Unfortunately not. EPNS (electroplated nickel silver) contains no silver and isn't viable to process. We need solid silver (925 or above).
Do you buy platinum as well?
Yes — platinum is purchased at market rate. Include any platinum items with your silver and we'll value them separately.
How is the silver price calculated?
We use the live London silver spot price, multiplied by the item's pure silver content (weight × fineness). Our pricing is fully transparent.
