How do you calculate the value of my jewellery?
We weigh each item and test its purity with XRF analysis, a non-destructive method that gives precise carat readings. Your offer is based on the actual gold content at the current live spot price, not an estimate.
Does the condition of my jewellery affect the price?
No. We buy gold for its metal content. Broken clasps, missing stones and bent settings do not affect what we pay. Gold has the same value whether it is pristine or in pieces.
How long does the process take?
Once we receive your items, we typically complete testing and issue an offer within 24 hours. If you accept before 3pm, payment is sent the same day by bank transfer. From posting to payment typically takes 3 to 5 working days.
Is posting my jewellery safe?
Yes. Our free pack uses Royal Mail Special Delivery and is insured up to £2,500 from when you hand it in at the Post Office until it reaches us. For items worth more, please contact us first.
What if I change my mind after receiving the offer?
