How do you tell sterling silver from plated?
We test every item using XRF assay, which identifies the metal composition precisely. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure and priced accordingly; silver-plated items contain far less silver and are offered at a lower rate.
Do I need to clean my silver before sending?
No. Send your items as they are. Tarnish and patina do not affect the metal value, and we prefer to assess items in their original condition.
What happens if some of my items are plated?
We test each piece separately and give you a transparent breakdown. You can choose to accept or decline the offer for any individual item — there's no pressure.
How quickly will I receive payment?
