What if I'm not sure which pieces are silver?
Send everything you're unsure about. We test each item with XRF assay and report back on exactly what you have. There's no charge for this, even if some items turn out to have no silver content.
Do I need to clean tarnished silver before sending?
No. Tarnish has no effect on the silver content of the piece. Please send everything as it is. We prefer to test items in their natural state.
Can I sell broken or damaged silver pieces?
Yes. Condition doesn't affect the silver content. A snapped chain has the same silver value as an intact one of the same weight.
What happens to items that aren't silver?
We return non-silver items free of charge with the rest of your package if you decline. If you accept, we can dispose of them responsibly on your behalf.
