How do I know if the inherited jewellery is real silver?
Look for hallmarks. UK sterling silver is stamped '925' or carries a lion passant. Please don't worry if you can't find any, as we test everything with XRF regardless of markings.
What if some pieces are plated and some are sterling?
We identify and test every item individually. We do not buy plated items, so your breakdown shows which pieces are sterling, and the plated ones are returned to you free.
